The traditional name of Futnet in France is Tennis-Ballon and defines a sport with long tradition and wide practice.
Tennis ballon began to be practiced in France in the 50s; since 1996 this sport has been structured with numerous competitions across the country.
The FFDAF is the federation that organizes and develops this sport in France; Since 2018, a partnership has been set up with the French Football Federation.
In France there are three Futnet divisions which brings together approximate 500 players.
At the last edition of World Championships, France obtained the bronze medal at triples.
In the last years there exists a collaboration between FFDAF and French Footbal Federation. At the Futnet World Championships from Cluj-Napoca, Futnet French national team will play with the football national team’s equipment, which is in premiere for a Futnet national team.
